Cleopatra was found as a stray by a citizen who asked us if we could help find her a home.  We got her into the vet and ready for adoption.  We noticed her low energy level but she was eating and drinking ok.  She was at a local Petco for adoption and then needed a break and an experienced volunteer agreed to foster Cleo.  She noticed that Cleo’s gums were extremely pale.  She started a regime of food to help with anemia and Cleo seemed to perk up some.  We got her into the vet for a check up again and they tried to pull her blood and noticed it was not clotting properly.  We did some more extensive testing and nothing was determined.  She did become lethargic again after a few days.  We are looking into getting a second opinion at this time and we could use your help with donations.  Cleopatra’s check up and testing cost $198 so far and we might need to do some more testing to help this cat.  She has a super sweet personality and loves people and attention she just doesn’t move around like a normal cat.  Please help us help Cleo feel better and find her forever home.
