Opal

My name is Opal and I am about 2-3 years old.  I was rescued from the streets where I had been living for at least 3 months.  I got by on my skills and the kindness of strangers.  Now I live with my foster family until I find my own forever home. However, before finding a home I have to be treated for heartworms. The treatment is very expensive and I am, once again, depending on the kindness of strangers to help me survive. Although I am not feeling good and very tired, I know I will be fine after the treatment.  

If you could find it in your heart to help with the expense it would mean so much to me.  Anything you could give would help.

Update: Great news!!! Opal has been adopted by a caring family she can call her own. Her treatment was a success and now she can live her life the way it was meant to be; happy, healthy, and safe. Even though she has been adopted you can still make a donation in honor of Opal and it will be greatly appreciated; if Opal could talk we are sure that she would say "Thank You".
