Rhyme and Romeo

Rhyme, Reason and Romeo were found orphaned when they were about 2 1/2 weeks old. Luckily it was mowing day and the lawn guy found them all bundled together under a tree.  They had fire ant bites on their tiny toes and they were getting dehydrated.  The boys were bottle fed and were thriving in no time.    

The boys were fostered with dogs and cats and have the best little personalities.  When they were about 7 weeks old, Rhyme started squinting and we noticed a tiny scratch on his left eye. The doctor found that he had eyelashes growing inside the eyelid.  She pulled them but thought they would probably grow back without surgery.  When the boys were neutered she checked his eye again and the hairs were growing back, so she pulled them again and recommended an ophthalmologist.   

The ophthalmologist has found that Rhyme and Romeo both need the surgery.  This surgery will cost $600 for both kittens, this is in addition to the regular vet work we have done on each of our pets.  The adoption fee of $85 for each kitten will not cover the extra surgery these kittens will need.  You can help by donating to PAL.  Thank you!!!
