SADIE
Sadie was a stray that a citizen found and contacted PAL to see if we could take her into our program. We did and at first glance we realized she had a skin condition called Demodex. It is not contagious and easily treatable; many younger dogs can turn up with Demodex because it comes from the mother dog. We treated her for the skin condition and then took her in to be spayed and heartworm tested. To our surprise she came up heartworm positive too. This little girl has had rough start in life but she is on the road to recovery and will be up for adoption in April. She is a sweet little girl, she was housebroken from day one and has fit right in at her foster home with another dog and a cat. Sadie’s vet work costs will be close to $300. PAL’s adoption fee for dogs is always $150, we need your help to cover the extra costs so we can help the next pet we take in with extra medical needs.
