Tahoe
UPDATE...
Tahoe's leg was removed on 5/24/07 and she is doing great! She acts like
nothing has ever happened. Not sure how we are going to keep this little
girl on strict "bed rest" for 10 days! :)
Tahoe needs a home of her very own. Please fill out our application if you
are interested in adoption.
Tahoe was found on the streets by one of our volunteer's on 5/8/07. Some children were playing with her and her right front leg was obviously injured and very swollen. The children said they did not know who the puppy belonged to. Our volunteer took her in and straight to the vet. Her leg appeared to be fractured at her elbow and wrist and the injury appeared to be at least three weeks old. After a surgeon consultation it was determined that her leg was too mangled to be saved and needed to be removed. Tahoe has had a great disposition throughout the whole ordeal and never acted like she was in any pain.
